Join us November 20 at 7PM for a friendly discussion about circumcision and the evolving perception of birthing families. Our panel will be comprised of real parents who chose to circumcise their first but not their second, and parents who are circumcised but chose differently for their child.

speaker Teri Mitchell has been a registered nurse for over 10 years, with certifications in maternal newborn nursing, childbirth education, and is an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant. Teri studied to earn a doctoral degree in nurse-midwifery at Baylor University. The focus of her doctoral studies has been on parental decision making for routine infant circumcision in the United States, using the Shared Decision Making model.
Meeting will be held at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, 1000 Montgomery St., Ft Worth, Texas in the Medical Education & Training Building, Room 111. Parking and main entrance are on Bunting Street.
