In the United States alone, each year 26,000 babies are born still, and 18,000 families experience neonatal loss (within the first 28 days). Behind this startling statistic are the faces and hearts of families affected by the tragic loss.
Guest speaker Cindy Haggerton will share with us how she has persevered through the loss of their son, Evans at 33 weeks due to Potter’s Syndrome and will be joined by Trina Lozano, who specializes in infant loss. As a birth worker herself, Cindy has helped other families walk through their loss journey, before and after her son’s short life.
Meeting will be held at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in the Medical Education & Training Building.
